Professor Black has been a great support to the Review for the past four years.

Rebecca received her M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Indiana University. She was a Wallace Stegner Fellow in Creative Writing at Stanford University from 2001 - 2003 and spent time in Paris as a Stanford Writer-in-Residence at the Cite International des Arts.

She joined Santa Clara University in 2004 and is teaching courses in Composition and Creative Writing. She is the editor of the Santa Clara Review, the university's student-run literary/arts magazine which features student contributors alongside nationally recognized authors.
